I declare this weekend to be Electro Winter Carnival in Halifax. Two nights of dance parties. I am celebrating 20 years of performing live electronic music with a couple of A/V shows.
That’s right, punks… with a Commodore VIC-20 and a Casio sampler, I was throwing down live PA while you were still swimming around in your father’s balls.
Friday night at the Seahorse (for the drunks):
Saturday evening at the Pavilion (for the kids):
TAKE OFF YOUR PANTS AND SHAKE ‘EM
phil i am sad with all this talk about you leaving town. we’re not great pals or anything, but I always thought you were alright. Maybe I’ll try and come see your band, although I don’t get out much now that I wake up at 6:45 am everyday.I’d try telling you new brunswick sucks, but you know that, you’re from there.
I remember the first time I met Craig he acted like he hated me. I went and told Phil and Phil told me that Craig was just a “big teddy bear”. Those were his exact words – “Big teddy bear”.
I will miss you too Phillip. Don’t move. I will rack up an astronomical phone line contacting you about problems of a sexual nature that you don’t want to be bothered with.
I hear the same stories myself. I remember many years ago when philip was this elusive creature hiding in his bedroom working on music at the cavity haus. I remember thinking that when he got rid of his glasses and shaved his head he got right some hot. I remember when EOS got awesome and vickers was much more spry. I remember being 14 and having a crush on the clarkster.
whatever your reasons are for moving home, you know I’m sayin’ good luck.
