I staggered home tonight from the Pump and Tap and found a magic marker on my way. I thought "oh just my luck!" and thought of a myriad of ways I could use these markers to deface the town. Unfortunately I couldn't get the top of one of them and ended up with blue digits and a pair of jeans with blue ink spots all over the right left. I made it back home and chastised my roommate for paying five dollars to go to the Aurora (a dance club) when he could have been regaled with stories of work affairs. I suppose I would have been better off accompanying him.
My hands are red, 'white', and blue. Red from touching the cut on my jaw I received while shaving (I'm still getting the hang or not getting the hang of shaving with an actual razor rather than an electric shaver), blue from the marker I found on the street last night and subsequently broke open thus spilling ink all over my pants and hands (Mike tells me that playing with things I find in the street is for "sodomites and out of work politicians"), and white because well my skincolour is white (I suppose that's weak).
Tonight's thoughts:
-If I piss on the Indian Trading Post (out of necessity) on the way home and get caught, would that be considered a hate crime?
-Do I only walk away from the conversation because it centres on a someone I like or do I really feel repulsed by the subject matter?
-Does anyone miss Shannon Hoon? or lament the loss of Blind Melon? I suppose the guy wandering around Calgary with the pot leaf tattoo that reads 'Blind Melon' above it, and Soul Asylum underneath it, most likely does. Speaking of Soul Asylum, wasn't "Runaway Train" just an ABC Afterschool Special set to music?
-I'm really glad my ex-girlfriend's roommates don't (seemingly) despise, hate or loathe me.
-Music is awesome
-Stuff in general is awesome
-"and... isn't it strange how you don't call anymore?"
