I'd have to say the worst Halloween costume is dressing up as an ethnicity. I'm not talking about your own ethnic background or those girls who dress up as geishas (though that seems pretty awful as well), but people who focus on one aspect of a culture and use that as the basis of their costume. This almost happens almost exclusively with the 'chinaman' costume.
I love the idea that it's ok to wear a rice pickin hat on halloween, but if you told people you were wearing your cotton pickin clothes you'd get your ass kicked through your mouth. If you're going to wear a rice picking hat go the distance, get some false buck teeth, play ping pong, and run over some students in a tank.
