PARTY.

There's a party at Shawn and Stacey's Thursday night. Everyone is invited, even if you think you're not. Stacey is leaving soon so it's kind of a going away party.

(she specifically mentioned Crystal, KC, Gerry, Holly, Emily...sooooooooooo)

6145 Lawrence Street.

8:56 PM

Friday.

I had 5 cups of coffee cause I'd been up since 6 am. And when I saw Rachel standing at the coffee counter, I was like 'ohmygodidon'thaveanymoney andlook at thiscoolbondagetapeigotfor tamaraandwehavetogotothecraftstoreyourhairisssooooooooooooooLONGI'mbroke,I'mhot. Did you bring a glue gun?"

I'd just a spent a while looking at a bunch of dildos.

We went back to Venus Envy to finish off Tamara's grab bag.

  • Sex Positions book. Very. Very Useful.
  • Bondage Tape. Red
  • Pasties. Red
  • Thongs
  • Cock Ring with Clit Tickler
  • Oral Sex guide for him (for her)
  • A T-shirt Rachel made that said 'Taken'
  • Wedding Cake shortbread cookies from Hawaii.

We finally got back to Sackville and I ran around a lot in my house and got my parents to package the chocolate covered strawberries.

We picked up Tamara and drove to the Wooden Monkey. We ordered pitcher after pitcher of slings. I ate a very pasty lentil buger. The owner gave Tamara a free shot of the best tequila in the world. It won an award or something.

We went to Citadel Hill where I broke out the champagne and the cutest super tiny crystal wine glasses that I took from my mom's. I passed around the chocolate covered strawberries and those two really do go together like silk and deodorant.

We went to Tamara's cottage on Terance Bay where 8 of my best girlfriends had a sleepover.

The next day Tamara walked around in her thong. I walked into the ocean and my heart exploded.

It's awesome to be home. I've seen some of my old friends and I know how much I am loved. Even when I fuck up I'm loved. I think there a few people in Halifax I've really wasted my time on in the last couple of years. Ha. Ciao.

I'm not complaining. I'm just sayin' it's 9:30 at night and it's still 35 degrees out.

I love the heat and the sun but....well.

IF THERE IS ANYONE IN TORONTO WHO HAS A CAR AND WANTS TO TAKE ME SWIMMING I WILL DO ANYTHING. I NEED TO GO SWIMMING. I AM GOING TO LOSE IT. (in a lake. not a pool, although...)

I can barely walk I'm so whoozy from the hot.

10:36 PM

The wind is blowing dandelion fluffs all over the backyard. The grass is covered and they get in my hair and my coffee. It's like warm snow or ghostbusters out there.

I've taken three cold showers. I laid in bed naked because it's hot and I feel wrong, like my hands are not my hands and my parents are not my parents.

Yesterday I went to Korea Town with Caleb and we searched for duck bo ki until we found it at a restaurant on a picture and I jumped up and down. I licked the sauce off the plate and pointed out the tennis balls smooshed to the bottom of the chairs.

On the way home, we found three perfectly fine childen's bikes in a dumpster. It made me really mad so Caleb fished out the old antique one and carried it. I also found a plastic wrapped cigar on the ground and I took it. Not near the dumpster. At the convenience store.

Then Caleb took me to the knome house and made me a great latte. We sat in the backyard and I put my cigarette out on a magnolia petal. They're like leather. I'd like to make a magnolia skirt.

I walked to the subway in my barefeet because these little gold shoes allude comfort but they dig at my sides. A woman glanced quickly at my bare feet on Bloor Street and my two band-aids flapping in the wind.

I went to Kensington and and ordered a beer.

Lydia and I came up with some great performance and fashion ideas.

"Are we gonna remember these?"

"Ok, You remember the buttons and I'll remember Marie Antoinette and the bloomers."

I had a heated debate about domestic abuse and the "it's not my business" attitude with a friend that somehow got twisted into a morality debate and descended into suicide help or non-help and I got up from the table, went around the corner and walked down the alley, I leaned up against the building and cried.

I used the concrete to hold me up.
