I did not know I had tits the size of islands off the coast of Africa until I saw this picture. There was another woman at this party, wearing some badly placed frosted pink lipstick and a black headband. She was pregnant too. But she was taller than me and she is giving birth in 3 weeks. And you know what else? We were the same size. In the stomach part. I walk by and people sigh and say, "I predict a c-section." I still have two months. Suppoooooooooooooosedly.
In a couple of weeks I have a baby shower. My sister bought her niece a traditional Korean dress in hot pink silk. Kerry bought her a tea set from a famous tea shop in England. Then I have an infant cpr course, pre-natal yoga, a tour of the IWK maternity ward and pre-natal class. My life is busy with babies and barbeques.
The other day I was talking to Tweedie on the telephone and I told him my idea to bring champagne when I give birth so I can down a flute after she's born and he said, "Baby, I think you'll be too tired to have champagne." And I started to cry.
Speaking of barbeques, when Tweedie gets here he is doing the chicken cause no one around here seems to know what to do with chicken.

The last little run in was the last of it. I don't have it in me any more to give second chances. My castle has dirty floors. Fearful windows. The complications will prove to be too much for all involved. I predict a crumble.

Everyone keeps saying, “’Bout ready to pop, aren’t ya?”
Nooooo. Nope.
“Wow, you’re huge.”
Yesssss. Yes.
I went for an ultrasound the other day and found out the baby weighs 3 pounds 11 ounces. This is fascinating as most babies at 29 weeks weigh 2 pounds and some! And babies gain most of their weight in the last trimester.
She’ll be good and fat.
I also saw her wiggle around, open and close her fingers and drink amniotic fluid.

A Few Things.
- Your baby is no longer the size of a kitten, or a water bottle or an eggplant...your baby is the size of a BABY!
- I have freckles on the INSIDE of my belly button.
- Today we are booking Scott's flight from Vancouver to Halifax for the end of July!!!!! At 5 am I woke up and I was so excited I cried a little and then I pretended he was sleeping beside me.
- Congrats to Jessie and her new husband. They are getting MARRIED today.
